USC receiver Robert Woods, recovering from ankle surgery, expects to be ready for spring practice.
USC had voluntary workouts Tuesday and Woods was not among the participants. Not to worry, Trojan faithful, as the star receiver expects to be ready when spring drills commence on March 6. The 2011 Biletnikoff Ward finalist hurt his ankle last spring and played the season at less than full health. He still caught a school-record 111 passes for 1,292 yards and 15 TDs.
